Single Bourbon Cask

Cask No. 6077 was laid down in October 1966 under the watchful eye of Islay Shaw,

Tomintoul's very first distillery manager.

Bottled :  March 2020

This specially commissioned American Oak bourbon cask has yielded only 79 bottles

of remarkably rich and complex single malt.

This single cask whisky was hand-filled into individually numbered crystal decanters.

This is a truly unique and rare bottling from Tomintoul distillery.

Palate :  Cooked peach and apricot jam followed by toasted fennel seeds, muscovado sugar and coffee cake, bound with elegant hints of allspice, nutmeg and cedar.

Finish :  Lovely and warming with impressions of ginger biscuits, maple pecan pie, dates and mocha, fading into gentle cinnamon and spiced pear.
