The 2014 're-entry' Committee Release of Ardbeg's celebrated Supernova. A sought-after super-peaty whisky at 100ppm. This is the third edition of this expression, following on from the 2009 and 2010 editions.
Nose: Smoky, ashy, peaty, dusty, earthy, hay/grassy notes, charred zesty lemons.
Palate: Oily, spice, sweet and salty brine notes, mouth drying, tangy, charred.
Finish: Drying earthy hay notes, peaty coal smoke.
