Daftmill 2010 winter batch release (70cl, 46%ABV)

Distilled in November/December 2010 and bottled in 2023 using 25 first fill ex-bourbon barrels. Grown, distilled, matured and bottled in Fife, Scotland. 

Nose: Very classical Daftmill with distillery character front and centre. A lot of freshly mown grass, green herbs, crushed nettles and plenty of typical yellow and green fruits. Also some flowers and their pollens.

Palate: Good balance of sweetness with fruits, citrus curds and custard, along with slightly drier tones of fruit teas, chamomile and linseed oil. A very easy and sippable profile.

Finish: Medium in length, with a good balance of sweetness and dryness and elegant floral notes.
