Daftmill 2011 Summer batch release (70cl, 46%ABV)

The Daftmill 2011 Summer Batch Release, a 12-year-old Lowland single malt, showcases a creamy, fruity, and nutty character with notes of tropical fruits, vanilla, and a hint of spice, matured in ex-bourbon barrels. 

Nose: Bright and lively, with notes of tropical fruits like mango, pineapple, and apricot, alongside creamy vanilla, almond milk, white pepper, and nutmeg. 

Palate: Full-bodied and creamy, with vanilla and a soft nuttiness. The tropical fruit notes persist, with mango taking center stage, along with hints of baked pineapple, candy apple, and dried apricot. 

Finish: Medium-long finish that leans into the creamy richness of vanilla, with a base of orchard fruits and simple syrup, ending with a twist of citrus.
